At the helm of the Gloucester • Ipswich • Rockport • Opioid Abatement Collaborative are the Directors of Public Health from each community as well as the Gloucester Health Department's Regional Prevention Director and Regional Prevention Coordinator. Join our quarterly meetings (beginning in March 2026) to hear discussion of our growing network of treatment and recovery services and our initiatives to raise awareness of opioid use disorder and the stigma and barriers that prevent individuals from seeking care.
The Gloucester • Ipswich • Rockport • Opioid Abatement Collaborative has convened a group of local individuals with lived and living opioid-related experience to help ensure the program is best serving our communities. To help make sure our work is properly promoted, clearly communicated and reaches those in need, the Engagement Committee provides feedback on the success and ease of use of the different aspects of the program.
Representatives from our service partner organizations meet monthly with the Gloucester • Ipswich • Rockport • Opioid Abatement Collaborative to review current and future programs and services in an effort to ensure optimal, expedited care for those seeking help with Opioid Use Disorder.
