The intent of offering service-related Lyft rides through our partners is to reduce transportation barriers for residents of Gloucester, Ipswich or Rockport who are seeking treatment and recovery services related to Opioid Use Disorder.
Treatment appointments: rides to medication-assisted treatment, methadone clinics, counseling, or other substance use treatment services
Recovery support: rides to peer support groups, recovery coaching, recovery housing, or community recovery centers
Incarceration: rides for individuals leaving jail/prison or are on probation/parole to access treatment or recovery services; rides for family members seeking to visit these individuals during incarceration
Pregnant women and new parents: rides to prenatal care, treatment programs, or services for families with babies affected by opioid exposure during pregnancy
Harm reduction services: rides to access naloxone (overdose reversal medication), syringe services, or infectious disease testing that connects people to care
